Welcome to Styles By Z! I’m Z – A Georgia native serving in the North Little Rock, Arkansas area.
I’ve been a licensed stylist for 5 years now and fell in love with helping clients understand the process behind hair loss and hair growth.
I’m a certified Trichologist and specialize in scalp care, natural hair, silk presses, and braids. Once upon a time I too struggled with damaged hair and salon horror stories. So, I wanted to be a stylist who made clients feel comfortable and confident about their hair journey.
I like to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for my clients while they’re being serviced. Clients have the luxury of customizing their guest experience. Prior to their visit they may select the Pandora station they would like to listen to, which beverage they would like to drink, and which aroma they would like to experience while being serviced.
While technique and product selection are important, healthy hair is a lifestyle. Most of the clients I meet struggle with hair loss or damaged ends. Through education about diet and lifestyle, in addition to proper hair care and maintenance, I’ve helped several clients grow their hair. My studio suite also gives clients the privacy to ask intimate questions and discuss sensitive topics concerning their hair.
What keeps me going is meeting new people and having conversations about food, music, and movies. I’m a music and podcast junkie! When I’m not in the salon, I’m listening to a little reggae, a little H.E.R., or my favorite podcast…depending on the mood that I’m in. I’m also newly vegan! So, I love trying new dishes and recipes with lots and lots of flavor!
